Thanks to the support of Bank of America, the YMCA’s Achievers Career Pathways Program can continue to deliver college preparation and workforce development training for youth from grades 9 to 12 in the Metro Detroit area.

Our Achievers Career Pathways program provides a variety of youth development programs that helps put kids on a path to success. The YMCA Achievers program connects young people to career opportunities, providing a positive vision for the future along with strong educational support. But most of all, our Achievers program helps students build relationships with peers and mentors who strive for success in everything they do.

Serving 10,000 teens annually with 90% of participants graduating from high school and attending college, participants learn life skills, improve academic performance, explore career opportunities, participate in paid and unpaid work experiences, plan and produce community service projects, participate in fun and cultural enrichment activities and learn how to live a healthy lifestyle.

The program operates after school in the evenings, weekends, and summers. To learn more about YMCA Achievers Career Pathways program please visit ymcadetroit.org!
