Strength Training classes use resistance tools like weights, stability balls and stretchy bands to strengthen your muscles. Our coaches will maximize your exercise efficiency and ensure correct technique. Some classes work through the whole body while others focus on specific muscle groups.

Active Older Adult – Strength
AOA Chair fit uses a variety of exercises using dumbbells and bands
to strengthen and improve daily activities and vitality. This is an
intermediate interval class mixing strength and cardio.
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises to
improve strength, range of motion, and daily-living skills. You
will use hand-held weights, elastic tubing handles and a ball for
resistance, and a chair for seated and/or standing support.
A low-impact class that utilizes light weights and resistance
bands to enhance strength and support daily activities, while
including chair-based options for added support. It’s designed
for all fitness levels.
Designed for girls learning to lift, this small group training will
teach foundational movements like squats, deadlifts and presses.
Focus will be on learning proper lifting technique as well as how
to safely progress your workout. In addition to strength training,
participants will learn about goal setting, gym and body confidence
and how to create healthy sustainable fitness habits.
Learn the basic concepts of strength training with an instructor
that will lead the class through a variety of exercises using
resistance equipment, body weight, stability balls, free weights
and more to keep participants engaged and challenged.
