Regardless of the season, Nissokone is the perfect setting to make your special day exactly what you imagine it to be. Camp provides a natural, rustic feel that will make your guests feel right at home. In the summer, there are plenty of places to explore in the nearby towns full of unique shops, historic lighthouses, and beautiful, sandy beaches on Lake Huron. In the spring, watch the trees regain their leaves and in the fall watch the beautiful autumn colors shine through in this Michigan fall colors destination.
Ceremony
Allow the natural beauty of the setting shine through during your ceremony at the lakeside chapel. The lakeside chapel seats up to 180 people with opportunities for additional seating behind our existing benches. Feel free to add your own personality to the venue with flowers and other decorations.
Reception
Host your reception in one of our historic lodges – the Crow’s Nest, Dining Hall, or Theatre. Each space gives a natural feel for your guests with rich wood finishes, stone fireplaces, and porches with a view of the lake. The buildings comfortably seat 180 people with lots of room to take in all of the details of your memorable day. Caterers and other vendors are welcome onsite to provide anything you might need for your reception.
Accommodations
Camp is the perfect place for an all-inclusive day where family and friends from near and far can all come to enjoy and celebrate this exciting occasion. We offer housing in our clean, comfortable cabins built in the traditional wood camp style and renovated with modern restrooms and hot showers in each. Most cabins have 12 bunks, with two full bathrooms in each cabin. We have a variety of cabin layouts that can accommodate anywhere from 2-20 people
