Ever wanted to know how your local DJ produces such great transitions and fun word play? Or how DJ’s bring energy to an event? Come join us for a fun evening talking about the true basics of playing music for a crowd. This class will learn how to listen and observe a crowd to better set the pace of the evening. Participants will learn basic Bpm’s, music selection, and timing of transitions We will also explore the impact of theming and music selection has on events by creating themed playlists. Participants will need a computer and headphones for this class. This is a true beginners/novice class. Those who have dabbled in this before may find this class to slow. It is meant to learn the true basics of being a DJ. 18+ Offering
