“I started doing CrossFit in the fall of 2010. I typically attend class on average 3 days a week with the exception of the summer months when I concentrate on golf.

CrossFit has really helped my golf game. Prior to CrossFit, I was able to hit a golf ball a pretty good distance. But from last year’s golf season to this golf season, I have had to use two clubs less to get the same distance as the year before. Last year I was hitting my 5 iron 150 yards. This year I use my 7 iron to hit 150 yards. That is increase in distance of 20 yards! I no longer use a driver and I repeatedly win the longest drive with my 3 wood in competition.

CrossFit has not only increased my upper and lower body and core strength, it has also improved my balance, flexibility and agility.

I was over 50 when I started CrossFit. I credit the trainers — Debbie, Holly and Katie — for pushing me to my potential, and also for cautioning me and limiting me at other times; keeping me from injury.

I love CrossFit… Thanks ladies… Thanks CrossFit!!!”
