Girls in our community are counting on you! Become a Girls on the Run coach with the YMCA this spring and support girls in:
- Standing up for themselves and others,
- Identifying and processing their emotions, and
- Practicing empathy, inclusion and acceptance
Over the course of 8 weeks, you will lead your team safely through fun and interactive lessons 2x per week. Staff will be trained and all safety protocols as prescribed by the Michigan Department of Health and the Center for Disease Control will be followed.
The safety of our volunteers and girls remain our priority; therefore, we will prepare you to seamlessly shift to virtual programming should there be a need.
