Screened and trained adult volunteer coaches will teach the STRIDE curriculum focused on developing life skills through intentional conversation-based lessons and running games.     Gymnastics – Intermediate Register

    The Intermediate Class is for gymnasts who have mastered the Beginner Class skills. This class is the next step in the BYG Development Program and introduces new skills with a continued focus on building fundamentals, strength, and flexibility. Prerequisite: Proficient Beginner Class skills or speak with an Instructor for exceptions. Note: key skills will be evaluated on the first day of class to ensure gymnasts are enrolled in the most productive learning environment. The sport of gymnastics has a certain level of risk associated with it. The risk,when managed properly, can be significantly reduced but not eliminated.

    Gymnastics – Mighty Mites Register

    No experience is necessary for this structured gymnastics experience. Gymnasts are introduced to equipment, proper form and safety while working on improving their gross motor skills. This Instructor lead class is Parent On-Demand in the YMCA to help your gymnast transition to an autonomous learning environment. Parents must remain in the gymnasium on the benches to assist if necessary.

    Gymnastics – Tiny Tumblers Register

    No experience is necessary for this introduction to gymnastics. Students are introduced to equipment, proper form and safety, and basic skills including forward and backward rolls, handstands and cartwheels. Participants will also work on improving their gross motor skills through running, jumping, and balance, while transitioning to an autonomous learning environment. Parents are required to be in the YMCA during this class, but should not stay in the gym other than the first and last day of class.No class week of March 25th
