Poses are held long enough to adjust toward optimal alignment. Some poses are more challenging, but all are taught with modifications and props to make them more accessible to all levels of experience.
- Dates: 4/30/24–7/4/24Chair yoga will offer an approachable and relaxed class setting for members. All poses and movements will be done in a seated position, and the instructor will focus on breathing, flexibility, and range of motion exercises. The class will encompass mind, body, and spirit and will leave you feeling refreshed for your day ahead!
- Dates: 4/30/24–7/4/24HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) is structured so that you go all out with 100% effort for quick, intense bursts of time followed by short rest/recovery periods. The goal of this training is to keep your heartrate up and burn more fat in less time. Active class time is 30 minutes, with added recovery after your workout. Class may run over 30 minutes, not to exceed 45 minutes.

Water safety is reinforced through treading water and elementary backstroke. Students are also introduced to diving. At these levels, students will be performing strokes in the deep end of the pool.

The expectations are to use the four main swimming strokes to better improve their consistency with each. Perfect for experienced youth swimmers looking for a non-competitive, but still challenging course to test and train their abilities. Students at this level must be familiar and able to swim a minimum of 2 lengths of all 4 major strokes. They must be familiar with treading water, flip turns, open turns, and diving; these skills do not yet have to be mastered. They should be able to swim a combination of strokes for a total of 100 yards.Developmental Novice Expectations include: Must be familiar and able to swim a minimum of 2 lengths of all 4 major strokes, which includes Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Butterfly. They must be familiar with (but not mastered) Flip Turns, Open Turns/Underwater Pulls, and Diving. They must have the ability to tread water for 1 full minute. They must have the ability to swim a combination of strokes for a total of 100 yards.

Students learn personal water safety, basic safety skills, and achieve swimming competency by learning two benchmark skills: 1. This class is for levels 1 through 3 in the School Age category. - Dates: 5/8/24–6/19/24This course is designed for advanced youth swimmers looking to get a taste of what a competitive swim team could look like. Class will be dedicated to preparing for in class meets and their future as a competitive swimmer. Students MUST have the understanding to compete in all four aspects of competitive swim. Including: Back-Stroke, Butterfly, Breast-Stroke and Freestyle. Students at this level must be able to swim a minimum of 3 lengths of all 4 major strokes. They must be able to tread water, perform flip turns, open turns, and diving. They should be able to swim a combination of strokes for a total of 150 yards.
- Dates: 5/9/24–6/20/24This is an introduction to the aquatic environment for parents and their infants. Parents will learn basic aquatics safety and have a positive experience with their children that helps them bond. Infants learn basic skills and have fun playing with toys and flotation devices. Parents are required to participate in the pool with the child. Please make sure swimmers have on proper lined swimwear and swim diapers for the infants.

Students in stage 4 develop stroke technique. Students in stage 5 work on stroke development and learn all major competitive strokes. In stage 6, students refine stroke mechanics on all major competitive strokes, learn about competitive swimming, and discover how to incorporate swimming into a healthy lifestyle. Water safety is reinforced through treading water and elementary backstroke. Students are also introduced to diving. At these levels, students will be performing strokes in the deep end of the pool. This is a Fast Track Course, 2 Classes a week over a 3 week period.
