Trying to stay physically active but struggling to make the time? How about working out with a little help from your friends?

When you work out with a partner, you’re likely to:

  • Feel more motivated.
    When you and your buddy encourage each other, you’ll work harder (and get better results!). And there’s nothing wrong with a little friendly competition.
  • Be more adventurous.
    It’s easier to try new things with a buddy. You may just find an activity you love, one that feels more like fun and less like a workout.
  • Be more consistent.
    When someone else is counting on you to show up, you won’t want to let them down.

Invite your buddies to February with Friends at the Y!

Throughout February, we’re inviting our members to bring a buddy and celebrate February with Friends. Your workout buddy will get a free 7-day pass to the Y, so you’ll be able to get in at least 1 or 2 workouts or classes together, and your buddy can have time to explore everything the Y offers!

Don’t worry about any of your besties feeling left out – you can bring as many friends with you to try the Y as you’d like, but please bring only one friend per visit.
