The YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit has hosted its 23rd annual Legacy Golf Classic at world renowned Oakland Hills Country Club. Presenting sponsors and supporting golfers enjoyed a day of golfing along with raffles, a brunch buffet and a dinner buffet.
As we have approached our 23rd year, more than $5 million has been raised by the Legacy to endow programs to benefit children in Southeast Michigan. Through the Legacy endowment fund, kids are given opportunities to participate in afterschool activities that bring schoolwork to life. When kids attend YMCA camps and/or become involved in Y mentoring programs, they learn to make more responsible decisions. Y programs enable children to develop life skills and self-esteem essential for their future.

The money raised during this event will provide nourishing food to children attending school-based enrichment programs, as well as fun career and college prep programs, summer day camps and more.
