As the nation’s leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community, we are dedicated to building healthy, confident, connected and secure children, adults, families and communities. Every day our impact is felt when an individual makes a healthy choice, when a mentor inspires a child and when neighbors come together for the common good.
At the Y, we know that one size doesn’t fit all. That goes for Y memberships too. To help meet the varying needs of our members and our community, we offer several categories of membership at each of our locations. We also offer an association-wide membership which gives access to all locations.
When you join the Y you belong to a place where:
- Parents find a safe, positive environment for children to learn good values, social skills and behaviors.
- Families come together to have fun and spend quality time with each other.
- Children and teens play, learn who they are and what they can achieve, and are accepted.
- Adults connect with friends, pursue interests and learn how to live healthier.
- Communities thrive because neighbors support each other and give back.
- We all build relationships that further our sense of belonging and purpose.
When you belong to the Y as a Facility Member, you can enjoy everything the Y has to offer, including:
Wellness Center and Group Exercise Programs
Group exercise classes are a great way to get in shape and make new friends. Many group exercise and sports classes are included in your membership. Attend as many classes each week as you like and design a fitness schedule that works for you. Classes take place on land and in the pool (where pools are available). We post our Group Exercise Schedule on the website to help you plan your activities.
Members always pay a reduced fee for any paid programs that are open to non-members.
Youth Sports Clinics and Leagues
Help your children learn athletic and sportsmanship skills by enrolling them in any of our Youth Sports. Members can take advantage of clinics and leagues at a discounted rate. See the Swims, Sports and Play program page for information about our Youth Sports offerings.
Child Watch and Kid’s Club
Our Ys offer free drop-in child care while mom or dad make use of the Y. Playful, engaging options are plentiful for young children while you exercise or connect with others over shared interests. Please be aware that parents must remain in the Y at all times while using Child Watch and Kids club, and hours will vary by location. Find your local Y for details.

Complimentary lockers, towels, hair dryers, and shampoo/body wash are available for use while you are in the facility. Members must bring their own lock.
Basketballs and volleyballs are available for complimentary check-out with a valid picture I.D.
Lap Swim & Family Swim
The pools at our Ys are staffed with lifeguards and swim instructors to provide a safe environment for members to enjoy exercise swimming as well as recreational swimming. Our locations post pool schedules on their websites to help you plan your activities.
Next Steps (complimentary first work-out)
Every new member has a free consultation with a Y Life Coach, a certified fitness professional that will help them assess their goals and get them on the right track to accomplishing them. Healthy Living at the YMCA
The YMCA’s Corporate Wellness Program makes it easier than ever for your employees to be active, healthy and more productive.
Being healthy means more than simply being physically active. It’s about getting healthy from the inside out. The Y is a place where you can work toward that balance by challenging yourself to reach new fitness goals, fostering connections or bringing your loved ones closer together through our family-centered activities.
Benefits of Healthy Employees
Employees are the most valuable assets to any company. Organizations that value and promote a healthy lifestyle have an edge when it comes to attracting and retaining key people. Plus, companies enjoy a variety of additional benefits of healthy employees, including: Increased Morale, Productivity & Retention Physical activity improves moods and energy and decreases stress and anxiety. Active employees feel good about themselves and their work.
Decreased Absenteeism & Health Care Costs. An estimated 25-30% of companies’ medical costs per year are spent on employees with excess, often preventable, health risk. Improved wellness reduces employee absenteeism, injury, overall medical claims and healthcare costs.
