The request for the bid package and detailed specifications will be available for pickup at 9:00 am. March 23, 2026, by emailing purchasing@ymcadetroit.org. Charter bus transportation is primarily for our summer programs, which begin in early June through the end of August, plus scheduled weekday/weekend programs throughout the school year. Buses will be transporting children of all ages and adult chaperones to various locations in the greater Detroit area. The number of passengers transported will vary from location to location and day to day.

Bids are due no later than 1:00 pm, April 3, 2026, at which time the Request for Bids will be privately opened and read. Further details are included in the bid package. The YMCA reserves the right to reject any/or all Requests for Bids, to accept any Request for Bids deemed most advantageous to the YMCA, and to waive any informalities in bidding.
