About the Y Media Works – Downriver Family YMCA Showcase

Following two fantastic sessions of our Y Media Works program in Fall of 2023 and Winter 2024, Y Arts is thrilled to host a screening in partnership with the Prechter Education and Performing Arts Center at Wayne County Community College in Taylor. The free event will showcase film and photography projects created by middle school youth in our Movie Making classes at the Downriver Family YMCA.

Thanks to generous funding, this program is offered at a deep discount for Downriver youth. With multiple years of programming ahead, these first two sessions have been an exciting start to a great many more sessions.
