- Dates: 5/7/24–6/27/24Cycling Cardio for everyone! You will develop strength and endurance while working on your cardiovascular fitness.
- Dates: 5/7/24–6/25/24Weight training is for everyone! Learn the basics of strengthtraining with an instructor that will lead the class through avariety of exercises using resistance equipment, body weight,stability balls, free weights and more to keep participantsengaged and challenged.
- Dates: 5/7/24–6/27/24The principles and movements of Tai Chi are used to help older adults increase their strength, improve their balance, and increase their confidence in doing everyday activities. The program protocol consists of a core 8-form routine and a subroutine of eight integrated therapeutic movements forms that have been derived from the traditional 24-form Yang-style of Tai Chi, progressing from easy to more difficult which collectively involve a set of simple, rhythmic Tai Chi-based actions.
- Dates: 5/7/24–7/2/24Cross training mixes cardio, muscular strength and muscular endurance for a total workout. Cross training is an excellent way to add variety to your workout program. Cross training keeps the workouts challenging and fresh by using circuits and interval training.

- Dates: 5/8/24–6/26/24This class is a unique Yoga style that adapts yoga positions and poses through creative use of a chair. The chair replaces the Yoga mat and becomes an extension of the body. Chair Yoga is suitable for all ages, fitness levels and physical conditions.

- Dates: 5/8/24–6/26/24These cross training classes combine a cycling workout with strength or other cardio exercises to broaden the impact on the body. High- intensity, cardiovascular intervals will burn calories and strengthen the heart and lungs. While the use of weights, strengthens and builds muscle to burn calories all day long.
- Dates: 5/8/24–6/26/24A Vinyasa class consists of breath-synchronized movements that connect to each other in order to create a flow. In contrast to the more athletic, intense style of Ashtanga, Vinyasa emphasizes the link between body movements, along with the powerful use of the breath.
- Dates: 5/7/24–6/27/24Cycling Cardio for everyone! You will develop strength and endurance while working on your cardiovascular fitness.
- Dates: 5/9/24–6/27/24A form of body conditioning that involves endurance training, resistance training, high-intensity aerobics, and exercises performed in a timed circuit. It targets strength building and muscular endurance. An exercise “circuit” is one completion of all set exercises in the program. When one circuit is completed, one begins the first exercise again for the next circuit. Traditionally, the time between exercises in circuit training is short and often with rapid movement to the next exercise. Variety of exercise equipment can be used to keep classes interesting and challenging.

- Dates: 5/6/24–6/19/24A class for Green and Brown belts and for those that have completed Intermediate class.This class continues to teach basics and principles of Karate at a more advanced level. This class will start the student into sparring with and instructor and others,and will include the beginning of weapons training. In addition to to this,the student will also start limited teaching as part of their training.This class also prepares the student for the testing to Black Belt.A uniform is required for class and at this level,a Black uniform is optional.
- Dates: 5/6/24–6/19/24This class is reserved for those that have completed Advanced class and have tested for and received their Black Belt or their junior Black Belt ( under the age of 17 ). This class teaches techniques beyond that of the other classes and helps to continue the student down the path of being a Black Belt. Student teaching is a part of this class, along with continued reinforcement of basic and advanced techniques and continued learning.A uniform is required for class, Black uniforms are optional.
- Parents’ Night Out
4:00–8:00 pm
If Mt. Clemens Community Schools close due to weather conditions, all morning classes and programs will be canceled. The status of afternoon and evening classes and programs will be re-evaluated at noon on that day. We update our schedules as often as possible to keep them timely, but we’re unable to present up-to-the-minute accuracy.
