Senior Group Exercise Classes

Our Active Older Adult programs are designed to build not just muscles, but the whole person. Whether it’s in the park, on a walk or at a birthday social, our programs for seniors help you enjoy your friends and stay healthy.

Our classes are led by certified instructors who ensure proper technique, provide guidance and encouragement. If you have never participated in a group fitness class before, we encourage you to talk with the instructor before class. This will allow for the instructor to provide modifications.

Research shows that the simple process of checking and recording your blood pressure at least twice a month over four months may lower blood pressure in people with high blood pressure. Blood Pressure Management is an evidence-based program that combines education about proper nutrition with a reduction in sodium with physical activity to guide participants to a considerable reduction in blood pressure.

Take control for a healthier heart!

In this four month program trained Healthy Heart Ambassadors will encourage participants to:

  • Measure their blood pressure at least two time per month
  • Engage in 180 minutes of physical activity each week
  • Attend two personalized consultations per month
  • Attend two nutrition education seminars over four months

4 month program for only $40

Blood pressure monitors are available for participants for a discounted rate. Scholarships are available.
