What is money, and how do you earn and save it honestly? Our Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship programs teach kids valuable life skills, while they build confidence and make friends.

Y Moneywise/Financial Literacy kids ages 11-17

What is credit? How does one save and build wealth? In this program, kids are taught the basics of money management, including how to write checks and the difference between a debit card and a credit card. Participants gain an understanding of advertising and how it affects our consumer choices. They are even educated about payroll taxes and learn the value of saving.

Mix – DJ Entrepeneurship students grades 6-12

Mix is a unique afterschool enrichment class that teaches youth about the business of being DJ while cultivating self-esteem, confidence and opportunities. Students will learn technical skills including music selection, beat blending, equipment set-up and starting their own DJ business, and workshops will include coaching on performance, goals and achievement, both as a DJ and in life.
