Our Y offers Karate classes for all ages and abilities. Adult Karate as well as Youth Karate classes.
Karate
Through practice of basic techniques, kata (forms), and various levels of sparring, students learn self-defense. A traditional Korean form of Karate, Tang Soo Do, promotes positive attitudes, develops strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, discipline and teaches enhanced concentration and self-confidence.
*Little Dragons Karate classes are available for 5-6 year olds. Beginning Youth Karate classes are offered for ages 6 years and up. Please click here to view Youth Martial Arts.
Tai Chi
Research has shown that Tai Chi improves one’s health, reduce tension, and can help with a number of disease such as high blood pressure, arthritis, asthma, stomach ailments, heart problems and nervousness. Please join us for this wonderful opportunity to reconnect with your body.
