Livonia YMCA is looking for a Group Fitness Coordinator to join our productive team! Candidate must hold a current National Group Fitness Certification, current CPR & AED, have management experience, a great attitude and be a team player. Experience in teaching a variety of group fitness classes is ideal, and can be, but not limited to: Senior classes, Cross Training, Kickboxing, Yoga, Zumba, Studio Cycling, Body sculpting classes, and or Kettlebell exercise.

Basketball Private Lessons Trainer
Teach basketball in one-on-one or group lessons. This is an excellent opportunity for an outgoing, team-player to be responsible for the instruction and improvement of YMCA participants through private and group lessons.

Gymnastic Head Coach
The Gymnastic Head Coach, under the supervision of the Program Director, will be responsible for working with the gymnastics coordinator in managing the Livonia YMCA Gymnastic Program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to producing and executing age appropriate lesson plans, team placement, staff supervision, budget accountability, participate in branch special events, and other office duties. The coordinator will assist in the participant’s social, emotional, physical, spiritual, and cognitive development.
The position requires at least 4 years experience in the field of gymnastics, through personal participation and teaching experience along with at least 3 years coaching experience. Current CPR and First Aid certification or obtained within 30 days of hire. Current USAG Safety Certification.
A High School Diploma is required or its equivalent. A minimum of two years of college with an emphasis in physical education or a related field is required. Supervisory experience and work with children is required. Incumbent must possess a good understanding skill development related to gymnastics. Incumbent must possess strong oral and written skills. Must be available evenings and weekends.
