CHILD WATCH

The purpose of the YMCA Child Watch and Kid's Club programs are to offer members a safe and convenient place for their children while they are in the facility. This free service is provided for children who are members of the YMCA, while their parents are attending classes or using the Y for fitness or recreational purposes.

While caring for your child, our program will provide a positive, safe, fun environment.

Child Watch (ages 12 weeks to 12 years)

More than ever, busy parents need support. When parents come to the Y for a class, group activity or workout, their kids need a safe, enriching environment where they can build healthy, trusting relationships with other kids and adults. At Child Watch, children play under the supervision of caring, trained Y staff.  At the same time, their parents are able to relax, connect with other Y members and enjoy healthy activities at the Y.

As programs at the Y vary throughout the year, our Child Watch schedule is updated seasonally. Please visit the Member Services desk or Child Watch for the current schedule.

Kids Club (ages 6 years to 12 years)

Kids Club is an extension of Child Watch, offering gym time for children from 6 to 12 years old.  You will see Child Watch staff and Kids Club participants playing on scooters, or hear the roar of the running and fun with the basketballs in the gym. Please visit Child Watch for an updated Kids club schedule.

Tennis shoes are required to ensure the safety of participants.
