Babysitter Safety Training (BLAST!)
Taking care of children is an important job with serious responsibilities. Our Babysitter Safety Training will teach the skills needed to look after and care for young children. The course will cover: ages and stages of development and age appropriate activities, basic care for infants and children, job seeking advice, general safety tips, what to do in the event of a fire or other emergency, and how to administer Standard First Aid and CPR . Each student will make a “Sitter’s Bag” and “Boo Boo Bunny!” Student should bring a newborn size doll to practice with.
Ages: 11 and up.
Saturday: 1:00-5:00pm
